Mixed media is a broad, all-encompassing topic which can make it daunting to know where to start. Working exclusively in a sketchbook format, students will explore varied approaches to begin building their journal pages step by step. Learn how to layer creative writing, paper collage, stamps, stencils, mediums, gesso and more, to create depth and translucency in your sketchbook pages. At the end of 3 weeks, participants will walk away with a library of techniques to further their own development and creativity using mixed media.
